Meet The Team

James Williams is a passionate Jewish Educator currently living in Efrat, Israel. Born and raised in Birmingham, United Kingdom, his passion for educating began early on and it has stayed with him ever since. James was involved in Snif in Birmingham as Chanich, Madriach & Rosh. James continued his involvement with Bnei Akiva working on the Mazkirut of Bnei Akiva UK and then after his aliyah worked for World Bnei Akiva overseeing British Hachshara. James and his family have completed two successful shlichuts through Bnei Akiva of the US & Canada in both Toronto and South Florida. James studied Jewish History & Informal Education at Jews College London and continued his studies at Yeshivat HaKotel Jerusalem followed by completing Smicha. James firmly believes in the power of informal and experiential Jewish education and aims to connect people to Judaism, whilst growing their potential and becoming future Jewish role models. James was the Camp Director of Moshava Ba'Ir Greater Philadelphia for 3 years.

Sam Frank was born and raised in Cleveland and was strongly involved with Bnei Akiva, including taking on several ‘Rosh’ positions, during his time at Fuchs Mizrachi. Upon graduating in 2017 he went to learn at Yeshivat Sha’alvim where he learned for two years before drafting to the paratroopers unit of the IDF and then returned to yeshiva for another two years post army. Sam went to Camp Stone for the first of six years as a camper in 2009, came back as tzevet for three years to serve as hadracha, returned in 2021 after his time in the army to be a rosh eidah and this past summer again served as a rosh eidah one month while spending the other month in the beit midrash more formally learning and teaching. Sam is currently a madrich at Yeshivat Torat Shraga in Bayit V’gan, Yerushalayim where he also learns in YU’s Gruss Kollel. Next year Sam plans on attending Yeshiva University’s Azrieli graduate school to get a masters in Jewish education while also learning in YU’s RIETS semicha program.

This is Shira's fifth summer at Moshava Bair and she can't wait for it to begin. Shira has played many roles here in camp, but this summer she will be taking on the positon of Director of Operations. She works as a speech language therapist during the school year but looks forward all year long for camp to start!

Shula has been with the Bnei Akiva family for over a decade! She is available year-round and during the summer to make sure all registration needs are met!

Hi! I'm Nurse Toby, one of the nurses at Camp Moshava Ba'ir. I'm here to help make sure that your child stays safe and healthy during the summer. camping season. If you have any questions regarding your child's health, feel free to touch base with me!

Talia is excited to support all campers and families with any challenges that arise at camp. She is an expert in conflict management and enjoys finding solutions to every day problems.
